KeymasterFirst of all – your welcome to all who have thanked me publicly and privately.
Those who know me, know that I enjoy sharing and teaching and helping out our profession! Also love technology “stuff”
With that said
I am looking for a “small laser” to have in the office…
Not convinced to purchase the big guns- waiting for a few long term studies…
But since I am a high tech office and want to have a laser…
I am looking to purchase one to use for uncovering implants, gingivoplasty, frenectomy etc…
Any suggestions?

Alan,
I have the Picasso Lite and it is a great, inexpensive, easy to use Laser. I use it mainly for Frenectomies and where indicated, Gingivectomy/Gingivoplasty procedures for teeth and implants. You won’t be disappointed and now you too, can say you have a Laser.

P.S. You can probably pick one up at the AAP meeting in Miami at a meeting special price. I paid around $3000.00 about 2 years ago. See you at the meeting.

My thought would be to look at the Technology for Medicine – 1064 Nd YAG. It’s small, battery operated and very portable. It is great for soft tissue. IF, on the other hand, you would like to buy my Waterlase MD, I’d love you forever.

Or, you could buy my Moray.

That’s it – we have a section on the blog called old drek or something like that. A swap/exchange region – implants, equipment, staff, … Better than the stuff just gathering dust.
