Alternating Periodontal Maintenance Article

Does anyone recall a relatively recent article published, I think in J Cl. Perio., demonstrating greater long-term periodontal success when patients alternate hygiene between their general dentist and periodontist, every three months, compared with all maintenance done in the general dental office every three months?
